Because I haven’t developed a taste for whole wheat pasta yet and I try to cut back on my “white” food intake I try not to use actual pasta, I use cabbage “noodles” instead. It’s a way to increase your vegi intake to. While you are simmering your pasta sauce, I take a head of cabbage and slice it into about 1/4″ strips.
I put the cabbage in a steamer and cook it until it is limp but not soggy.
Serve with your favorite pasta sauce.
