My husband of 20 years and the father to all 4 of my children has been with me through thick and thin. We’ve weathered the storms and came out better people and better parents because of it. He’s responsible, dependable, faithful, interesting, a great businessman and provider. I’m so lucky to have him. This is not to say that we have not had our problems and our share of fights. He’s the oldest of his siblings and I’m the oldest of mine so that means we each think we are in charge and should have the final say. We’ve been at logger heads many times and even been close to calling it quits. I’m so glad we went through what we did. Not that it was fun by any means, but it has made us the people, the couple, and the parents we are today. If your in the thick of things now with your man I suggest you pray for wisdom, strength, and endurance. The Bible doesn’t promise us a trouble free life as a Christian, it is quite the opposite. Jesus said in this life we WILL have trouble, but that he will be with us. Take time to honor a special father in your life this fathers day. Don’t forget our Father in Heaven who is responsible for putting the stars in the sky and the fish in the sea and everything inbetween. He planned for you before you were born and has an absolute purpose for your life. Embrace it! You are the only you he made and you are special.
